Lean Tools

The goal of the lean approach is fascinating: to only produce what the customer actually requires at exactly the moment when he needs it, free of waste, low in stock and in the shortest possible time. In this way the costs fall in a dramatic way, the lead times are not rarely more than halved and the productivity increases significantly. But easier said than done. Where do I find the fruits within easy reach and how do I harvest them? What do we need to do to secure the sustainable successes of a Lean Transformation?

The Lean Tools are the visible path to your lean company. Separate from the development and deployment of the breakthrough goals (Hoshin Kanri), development of a pragmatic path to a sustainable improvement culture (Kaizen-Management) or corporate-wide communication of the necessity for change and developments (Lean.Communications).

As the clockmaker requires his special tools, so also the Lean professional always has the right tool for every situation. And exactly like the clockmaker, the tools alone do not make a good clockmaker. It is always also the correct selection and virtuoso handling of the tools.
